Running the appliance list before you order

Before you choose a size, write the appliance list down with the watts and the voltage from each label. Testing a new transformer before you trust it with the appliance

You will hear a faint hum, which is the core doing its job. What you should not hear is a rattle or a buzz that comes and goes. After ten minutes at no load, put your hand on the case.
